PRC Tchoup HopSteeg Law is proud to be a sponsor of the Preservation Resource Center’s (PRC) Tchoup Hop that will be held on May 16, 2026. Formerly known as the Julia Jump, this beloved fundraiser takes on a new name and a new energy, reflecting PRC’s move to 923 Tchoupitoulas Street and the evolution of this signature event. While the address has changed, the heart of the evening remains the same: celebrating the organization’s mission and the people who make preservation possible.

Tchoup Hop leaves behind the formal black-tie gala in favor of a spirited, themed experience inspired by a New Orleans–style homecoming, equal parts reunion, block party, and love letter to the city. Guests are invited to come dressed for their favorite New Orleans event, whether that means parade-route Mardi Gras flair, crisp White Linen Night looks, Saints game-day black and gold, Jazz Fest or Bayou Wear festival style, or the unmistakable energy of a riding or marching krewe. The night will feature music that gets you moving, food and drinks inspired by local favorites, and surprise moments that keep the celebration lively and fun.

Throughout the evening, Tchoup Hop will highlight PRC’s work protecting historic places, neighborhoods, and stories across New Orleans, reminding us that preservation is about people as much as buildings. It’s about continuity, belonging, and ensuring that the places we love remain vibrant and meaningful for generations to come.
