Managing Partner, Robert M. Steeg, is now a member of the Executive Committee of the Jewish Federation of Greater New Orleans (JFGNO) in addition to serving on the Board of Trustees.
Established in 1913, JFGNO serves as the central coordinating body for the Jewish community in New Orleans. The Federation’s purpose is to build and sustain a vibrant Jewish community in New Orleans and to assure the continuity of the Jewish people in America, in Israel, and around the world.
JFGNO also does community outreach in the wider New Orleans area. In conjunction with the Jewish Community Center, the Rabbinic Council and local synagogues, they ran a hunger relief campaign called 5774 to collect canned and dry food goods. They also helped mark Martin Luther King, Jr. Day with two days of events including an interfaith workshop, marching in the city’s parade and an afternoon of service in Central City.
Partner Charles L. Stern, Jr. also serves on the Board of Trustees.
