As a board member of the Preservation Resource Center (PRC), attorney Henry Opotowsky keeps Steeg Law’s residential real estate clients apprised of the many educational programs and resources that the organization offers homeowners.
Among the programs that the PRC is offering this summer are classes on Navigating the Historic District Landmarks Commission and one-on-one appointments with a City Planning Commission administrator.
Navigating the City Planning Commission (Virtual Class)

The PRC partners with the City Planning Commission to offer this free course designed to help property owners understand the CPC, including what services and resources the CPC provides and how to navigate zoning and other CPC applications. Taught by Laura Bryan, Assistant Planning Administrator, and Valerie McMillan, Principal City Planner, this class provides an opportunity for property owners to ask questions and learn more about how to work with the CPC.
