Steeg Law is pleased to announce that partner Charles L. Stern, Jr. has been named Best Lawyers®’ 2015 New Orleans Litigation – Real Estate “Lawyer of the Year.” Only a single lawyer in each practice area, in each community is being honored as a “Lawyer of the Year.”

Mr. Stern has over 30 years of experience handling commercial and business litigation for clients in a variety of industries, including title insurance, commercial real estate, and banking. In the combative world of litigation he has developed a reputation for coming up with practical solutions that accomplish what the client is trying to accomplish without spending money unnecessarily. As Mr. Stern says, “I am highly aware of my client’s needs and interests. I also learned a long time ago that litigation is a means to an end. So, from the beginning I am looking for ways to resolve the dispute on terms that make sense for my client.”

Mr. Stern joins two other Steeg Law attorneys, partner Randy Opotowsky and senior associate Lillian E. Eyrich, in being named Best Lawyers’ New Orleans “Lawyer of the Year.” Mr. Opotowsky was named Best Lawyers’ 2014 New Orleans Litigation – Real Estate “Lawyer of the Year,” while Ms. Eyrich was named in 2012 as the “New Orleans Best Lawyers Real Estate Law Lawyer of the Year.”
