Zachary H. Kupperman represents clients in a broad range of legal and business matters, including commercial litigation, commercial real estate, business formation and strategic planning, startups, corporate finance and general corporate law.

Mr. Kupperman is also active in community affairs. He Co-founded and served two years as Chairman of the New Orleans Young Urban Rebuilding Professionals and currently serves on its board. He also sits on the Civil Rights committee of the Anti-Defamation League (South Central Region). Mr. Kupperman is actively involved in and dedicated to economic development in the New Orleans region, participating in the creation of and contributing to WorkNOLA.com, Destination Broadmoor, and 504ward.

While in law school, Mr. Kupperman was a finalist in the Tulane Business Plan Competition, a semifinalist in the 504ward Business Plan Competition, and served as a coach at Voodoo Ventures’ Startup School. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Kupperman worked in real estate and also founded several businesses, including PolicyPitch.com, an innovative approach to involving citizens in the legislative process.

Honors: During law school, Mr. Kupperman served as a Managing Editor of The Tulane Environmental Law Journal. He was also honored by Gambit Magazine as one of New Orleans’ 40 under 40 in 2009 and selected as an Innovator of the Year by New Orleans CityBusiness.

Member: Federal, Louisiana and New Orleans Bar Associations; Co-founder and past Chairman of the New Orleans Young Urban Rebuilding Professionals (NOLA YURP). Admitted to practice in the State of Louisiana in 2009; U.S. District Court for the Eastern Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana in 2009; U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in 2009.
