Chip Leyens will be the new chair of the Warehouse and Industrial Leasing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section. Mr. Leyens recently appeared on a panel regarding estoppels, SNDAs and other lease provisions that facilitate property sales at the section’s spring meeting. Earlier this year, he appeared on a panel sponsored by the ABA’s Affordable Housing and Community Development Forum regarding redevelopment of blighted properties. Mr. Leyens also has been reappointed to the Board of Trustees of Longue Vue House and Gardens in New Orleans, and serves on the board’s finance committee.
Rose LeBreton has been elected as President of the New Orleans chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women).
Jaclyn Hill recently co-chaired and presented at the New Orleans Bar Association's Dos and Don'ts of Summer Clerkships Seminar. Over 60 young law students from the New Orleans area attended and participated in a discussion on how to have a successful and meaningful legal clerkship experience.
