Recent Activity

Chip_Leyens has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Real Estate Laywers.  bit.ly/jonleyensacrel.  He currently is the chair of the Warehouse and Industrial Leasing Committee of the American Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section.  Mr. Leyens recently participated in a panel on loan work-outs for the Louisiana chapter of the Turnaround Management Association and will be a panelist at a commercial leasing law CLE program later this month. 

Rose_LeBreton has been elected as President of the New Orleans Chapter of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women) for the year 2009.   Mrs. LeBreton was also chosen by City Business as one of the top 50 Women of The Year 2009.

Randy_Opotowsky is currently serving a ONE YEAR term as Secretary/Treasurer of the Board of Directors of the Preservation Resource Center of New Orleans.  Mr. Opotowsky has served on the Board in many different capacities over a period of 10 years.

Robert_M._Steeg has been chosen for the CityBusiness Leadership In Law Class of 2010.  He was honored at a banquet on March 16, 2010.    bit.ly/leadershipinlaw

Jaclyn_C._Hill has recently been named to the Board of Directors of Hands_On_New_Orleans.  This organization connects volunteers with opportunities to make meaningful, positive rewarding changes in the New Orleans community.  Ms. Hill also co-chaired and presented at the New Orleans Bar Association's Dos and Don'ts of Summer Clerkships Seminar.  Over 60 young law students from the New Orleans area attended and participated in a discussion on how to have a successful and meaningful legal clerkship experience.  Ms. Hill serves on the Executive Council for the Urban Land Institute of Louisiana.
